Corporate Intranet Systems
We have developed intranet systems as solutions for clients wishing to enable restricted access to data for employees across their local area network. We have developed systems that run on either of the two major commercial web hosting platforms available, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and the open source APACHE web server system.
Our intranet systems provide a common set of modules rich with functionality, such as Company Contact Phone Directories, Image Galleries, Discussion Forums and Document Libraries etc.
All of these modules are centralised and accessible to users of the system, based on a simple hierarchical user management system. We are able to restrict what each user is able to see or edit based on their user profile, which controls a user's intranet experience. For Microsoft Windows Network based installations, we can link into Microsoft Active Directory Services for Domain Controllers to further tighten the integration of the functionality of the intranet system with the network it is hosted on.
We can create a single intranet site that consists of these core modules, or we can create multiple sites in a single intranet that may represent the departmental hierarchy of an organisation.
